Trip takes a trip
Trip 35 has been getting about. It’s still early days for him and I, but here a few of our first processed shots from Clovelly and Shrewsbury.

Red-shirts, muggings and a volcano in Iceland couldn’t ruin this holiday. Some piccies from Thailand, the land of smiles. Click on the image to see the gallery.

The Olympus Trip 35… a legend of his time, he and his brethren were made by the millions between 1967 and 1984. You know how every now and then the stars align, choruses sing, rainbows shoot from the sky, and a brand gets a product truly right? Well, I’m told this is a product of such creations. Can’t wait to start playing with it.
A group of friends and I recently signed up to Shoot Shoreditch – a photography competition whereby you solve clues, take pretty pictures (the one above being a response to “designers block”), and then agonizingly sit through a screening of everyone’s entry (school-assembly-style) on the squeaky-clean floors of Cargo.
Anyway, most creative wins, and whilst i don’t want to sound bitter… we were definitely robbed. Check out a few of our entries here.
Aaaaand I best give credit where credits due… Other team members were Dave “Dude” Hughes, Rebecca “Cuzzy” Heffernan and James “Apparently Jimbo” Orton.
Im a sucker for all things red. The Socialist aesthetic, culture and lifestyle fascinates me. So I guess its no surprise i’m the proud owner of a Lomopgraphy Diana+ camera. These Russian-born cameras have such charm… you simply cant go wrong. Even the blurriest, greyest, most cliche` subjects can become gorgeous “happy accidents”. I LOVE it!
